SPRINGFIELD, PENNSYLVANIA, UNITED STATES, April 6, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- On April 21st, Clark and Sallie Bongaardt, owners of Comfort Keepers of Springfield, PA, plan to say "thank you" to their caregivers by holding an annual Caregiver Appreciation Day event at the Philadelphia Phillies game. The game will be played against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The festivities will begin long before the game begins, however. Comfort Keepers caregivers can expect a lively tailgate full of fun activities for children, free food, multiple food trucks, reserved seating, reimbursed parking, and a free t-shirt.
This is the 2nd year that Caregiver Appreciation Day is being held. The Bongaardts have no plans on stopping the tradition due to how well-received the event went last summer. At last year's event, two of Comfort Keepers' in-home caregivers assisted in the first pitch ceremony and over 250 Comfort Keepers attended the event.
Clark and Sallie Bongaardt, along with their son, Ian, have been providing senior care home care services to Springfield, PA, and surrounding areas since 2002.
