Whilst a Donald Trump baby blimp flies high over London joined by tens of thousands of protesters, the President and his wife, Melania Trump, escaped to the more idyllic scenes of Windsor to meet Her Majesty The Queen for tea.

The long-awaited moment of their UK visit took place on Friday afternoon, as the President and First Lady arrived in the Windsor Castle grounds by helicopter.

Arriving late, the President and First Lady finally made their way to greet the 92-year-old monarch, making Trump the 12th US President to meet the Queen during her reign.

For the occasion, Melania chose to change out of her Victoria Beckham dress, opting for a sleek cream Christian Dior suit.

The modern ensemble featured a demure knee-length pencil skirt and asymmetric button-up jacket.

Melania kept the look tonal, finishing it off with her signature pair of nude stilettos and thin black waist-belt.

Her hair had also been re-styled from the day's activities into a neat, Meghan Markle-style up-do.
