She recently suffered the humiliation of watching her business collapse.

But that hasn't stopped Millie Mackintosh from being part of the fashion world - as she proved, this week.

The brunette babe, 28, joined her peers at the House of Fraser gala dinner in London's One Belgravia on Wednesday, where she put-on a brave face.

Celebrating the store's SS18 collection launch, the ex-wife of Professor Green posed through any awkwardness and showed off her defiant side.

Dressing to impress, Millie - who rose to fame in Made In Chelsea - sported a fitted, black top with a matching floral skirt.

Capping the look with a pair of towering heels and a canary yellow clutch bag, it walked a fine line between smart and casual.

Yet the well-crafted ensemble couldn't hide her straight-faced expression as she browsed the new designs.

Then again, she has little reason to smile.

The former Made In Chelsea star announced she was closing her eponymous fashion line, earlier this week- and it's said she's set to lose hundreds of thousands of her personal fortune.

The clothing company owes more than £500,000 with Millie set to personally lose £178,000 from the business flop, according to The Sun .

The newspaper says that documents show the company is to be liquidated with a shortfall of £548,000 for creditors.

Millie's clothes were sold in a number of high street stores and on websites like ASOS and Very Exclusive before the business went under.

It was even rumoured that she had designed pal Meghan Markle's wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials to Prince Harry .

Despite the setback, Millie shouldn't be too downhearted as she's still got a lot left in the bank.

Ms Mackinstosh is the heir to the Quality Street fortune and is estimated to have a personal net worth of £2million.
