ALBAWABA - A shocking video took the internet by storm after the skies of Iran witnessed fish falling from it in what people call the "lluvia de peces" ( aka rain of fish). The phenomenon usually occurs after a country faces hurricanes from its sea.

The hurricane in question caused the fish to fly from one place to another which created the strange phenomenon as people took to their phones and broadcasted it across social media platforms including X (formerly known as Twitter).

According to Erem News, the "Rain of Fish" occurred in the city of Yasuj which is located in the Central District of Boyer-Ahmad County, Kohgiluyeh, and Boyer-Ahmad province in Iran. The news outlet added that the scientists still haven't confirmed the exact reason why this occurred in Iran but speculations say that it's due to a storm and strong air current as mentioned above.

The video showcased a bunch of fish flapping around on a street near a roundabout with cars everywhere and a man screaming in excitement as he held one of the fish and showed the viewers that this phenomenon is indeed real.
