Rumours have been swirling for weeks but on Monday morning, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle finally confirmed their engagement to the world.
Just like his brother Prince William and his then-wife-to-be Kate Middleton, the fifth-in-line to the throne posed with his beaming fiancée , for photographers at the packed photocall at Kensington Palace.
The American actress showed off her ring for the first time, after the Prince proposed three weeks ago. He designed the sparkler himself, made by Cleave and Company.
It contains two diamonds from his mother Princess Diana's personal collection and one stone from Botswana.
And just like with the Duchess of Cambridge , the 'Meghan effect' has already begun, with fans of her style following her every fashionable move.
In a nod to the White Garden in the palace grounds, Meghan opted for a white wrap coat, to protect her against the November chill.
The Suits star's belted jacket is from Canadian brand Line The Label and one point, the website crashed, as fans raced to copy Meghan's chic outerwear.
The coat is from their Fall 17 collection and the label already has a number of celebrity fans, including Emma Stone, Dakota Fanning and Emmy Rossum.
Meghan teamed it with a green fitted bow detail dress from another Canadian brand P.A.R.O.S.H.
It's a small nod to her Toronto home, which she has recently moved out of.
She took a leaf out of sister-in-law Kate Middleton's book and completed her look with a pair of nude criss-cross suede 'Matilde' shoes from Aquarazza .
Just like the Duchess of Cambridge, Meghan's hair was styled into a sleek blowdry and she opted for smoky-eye make-up and a nude-pink lip.
She also wore delicate yellow gold and opal earrings, £850, from Birks.
